the initial cost isn't the issue … the long run cost is huge because the volume of free certificates will decline and decline, as will the total volume of certificates.
…
besides, human caused global warming is the hoax of the century. we aren't causing it and we can't significantly affect the temperature — solar cycles are easily 1,000 times more important.
dude,it is not America. It is, can you personally afford it?the answer($3100 per family) for me is fk no ! time to stop these mfkrs from all these internal terrorist laws to rip off their own people….
A whole new tax scheme built on one-sided "science" should be a tip of to reasonable people. Of course the congress will sell this mess by convincing people that it won't cost the "average" taxpayer that much. They will neglect to fill in the part where the costs of EVERYTHING will eventually rise. Anything that takes energy to produce or transport will be effected. Do we really think that China will shot itself in the foot by adopting a similar policy? I don't think so. So their products will have an even more competitive edge than they do now. Good bye to more American jobs.
The American people would be wise to oppose this thing. And if it goes through, which it probably will, keep your eyes on who gets the big certificates and where the money goes.

It's "Cap & Trade" and it will amount to $300 a year for the average American home. I think they can stomach it.
