Sorry if this is the wrong section.. I’m just going with the suggested category.
Thank you Robin!
I am under 18 so I will have my parents set up an account at a bank and get me a prepaid debit card. I want to buy a website, but can’t get a checking account with a debit card, so someone told me about prepaid debit cards. Hopefully this will work!!!

If you have a job, and have a checking account, then you can get a debit card.
Most of the time you need to be 18.
Your parents can easily set up an account with the bank, that they transfer the money into and you get a card. it is simple, easy and no age limit.
I’ve sent my preteen niece prepaid debit cards for gifts. I just went into the bank and asked for one. They function like a gift card, but are run by Visa. You can add money to the card on line, and use it anywhere Visa is accepted. There is no age limit to those cards.

In the US, you have to be 18, since it’s a contract.
