I am not sure if it is every two years or three but it is one of them. One party calls and requests it and they have everyone send in their financial papers, W-2's, paycheck stubs and all of that and they decide if it is raised, lowered or stays the same. You don't really need a lawyer. Go to the family probate department in your local courthouse. Ask for 'modification' papers. Fill it out (with your reason being his income increase). Give it back to the person at the counter. In a few weeks you'll get a court date in the mail that both you and your ex need to attend. He will have to show his pay stubs. They take a percentage (usually 20%) for child support. As long as it has significantly increased, you will get more CS. *You have a right to have your child support judgment reviewed every three years, even for NO REASON! Its actually pretty easy. You don’t really need a lawyer.

In Georgia I know you can do it through child support services if you have a court order over 3 years old. Try calling them for some advice.
