My husband is currently serving federal time. We got married while he was in prison. He has 5 children 2 with me all the children came before we were married. Once he is released they give him 6 months to find a job. If he doesn’t find a job within that 6 months will the court order me to pay child support.

My boyfriend pays 5 a month for child support to the mother of his daughter and we have a child on the way. How much will this affect the child support that his daughter receives? Will it be raised? lowered? Also the daughter will be moving to another state in May…Will this affect anything? We live in the same household so he will not be placed on child support for my child but will the court see that he also has to take care of another child along with the one that he is already paying for?

My girlfriend is 16 and a little over 3 months pregnant, we aren’t doing well together right now and are thinking about breaking up as it would be in the baby’s and our own best interest. I was wondering how any sort of child support would work in this situation since she is still underage, I just turned 18 a few weeks ago myself. I just would like to have things planned out ahead of time.

I have been going through dhs for child support for about 4 years with little success. I recently went back to court and received a judgment for the child support he owes. I recently lost my job and haven’t had alot of luck finding a new one. How can I go about receiving a lump sum payment for the child support he owes? Is this even possible?
