I’d like to know!

My roommates have been harassing me and doing illegal things in the apartment. I’m bound to a lease with them, but have refused to stay and pay rent under the fact that the apartment is uninhabitable for me. Now my roommates want to go to court because I’m not paying rent, and I don’t have any physical evidence of their illegal activity, but I do have tons of witnesses. The only thing I’m scared of is that I’ll have to pay their lawyer fees if I lose. Can they tack their lawyer bill to me if this is the case?

Hi! In my history project that’s coming up, I have to be one of the "defense lawyers" that would defend Montezuma when accused of crimes against humanity by the spanish (sacrificing people) and I need some counter arguments/defenses that would make "him" safe. Thanks.

But its not okay to hate Communists and Muslims? In all the Alien movies I’ve ever seen, there is no doubt among anybody that the Aliens are evil. Nobody ever complains about the mistreatment of Aliens. There are no activist lawyers or protesters or ditzy actors or college professors speaking out against human self defense. All the countries of the world unite against the menace. The UN springs into action to defend Earth. People are aware of the threat the moment the first human is killed. Why can’t real life be like this?
