cause i want a new phone and the one i have now is prepaid but my mom won’t let me get a contract phone. so is it able for me to put a prepaid sim card into a contract one

my husband recently had to move to mexico to take over his grandfathers business, and i have my cell phone to call him but i dont have a long distance/international calling plan.
if i buy an international pre paid phone card, will i get charged for long distance?

I have a picture that I got from google, but when I try to take a picture of it, it comes out all blurry. Is there a way I can save the picture to a file, then transfer it to my phone’s memory card?

When people make phone calls from the Air Force boot camp, is it free long distance or do they need to bring a phone card? Thanks.
