how do i report tax fraud led by one illegal immigrant?

Filed under: tax fraud — admin @ 6:55 pm

ok. this guy i have known for about 4 years, he has been working on his papers to remain in this country but was here illegally for 10 years, all the years he has been here he has harboured illegal immigrants , all the time about 6 would live with him in every apt he ever moved to . he has six that live with him now. i have known for 2 years now that he is a main source for these illegals to file income tax returns for these people so that they may get the child tax credits, and the men that live here send their money to mexico, they don’t have their children living here with them. i know they use some number itn or something like that to be able to file. because i can’t imagine them using the false social security number that they are using. its a totally fake ss card. i already hear that "alex" is going to make alot of money by doing the taxes for them. i wonder how much money he got back in someone elses taxes, and what can they do about it, they are here illegally right.. he is doing illegal things. i know for a fact too that he is involved in the smuggling of these people.(and marijuana) someone needs to bring his power down. he shouldnt be here.

Can a bookkeeper get in trouble for not reporting their employer’s tax fraud?

Filed under: tax fraud — admin @ 12:19 am

My employer wants to give out tax free year-end bonuses by handing out cash and burying the expense in some random expense account like advertising or office supplies. If the company got audited and the fraud got discovered, can I as the bookkeeper get in trouble for not reporting it

Is it tax fraud to sell a stock when it’s low and then buy it back immediately?

Filed under: tax fraud — admin @ 1:36 am

Okay so I made about ,000 trading stocks this past year. The way that works is when you sell the stock, you deduct the price you bought it from and whatever is left over is your profit (or loss).

I just lost about ,000 of it on this one stock that went plummeted drastically, but a lot of people are speculating that it will probably go back up, because it doesn’t make sense for it to be this low. The problem is the year is almost over, and if I don’t sell the stock so I can record the loss, I’ll have to pay taxes on the ,000 I made. And if the stock doesn’t go back up, there’s no way I’ll be able to come up with the money for that. So it kind of looks like I should sell the stock.

But I don’t want to sell the stock, because I and a lot of other people are hoping it will go back up. So it kind of looks like I should sell the stock so I can record a loss (just in case it doesn’t go back up), and then buy the shares back because I’m hoping they’ll go back up. But that kind of sounds like I’m bordering on tax fraud. Will the IRS come after me for tax fraud if I do that?

If we can’t come anywhere close to balancing the federal budget, how will we ever reduce the federal deficit?

Filed under: tax fraud — admin @ 1:22 am

Do we just keep spending more and more tax dollars on interest payments to China?

Do we ever address any tough issues, like entitlement programs?

It’s easy to say get rid of fraud and waste, but until you address social security, military spending, and medicare, you’re not going to reverse course.
