The bible says not only is it a sin to eat unclean meat, which I can prove is still an issue, but it is a sin to even handle the carcuss of an unclean animal. I quit my job 3 months back (Quiznos Subs) because I felt like a hypocrite serving ham, and then there is the whole handling ham situiation. Does anybody know weather it is sin to handle unclean meat as long as I’m wearing gloves. For the Record I’m a Seventh-Day Adventist…we believe the bible in the whole. I might say when in doubt do without, but this is really based on a technicality, the definition of that verse hangs in the balance, we can’t just delete it! WHAT DO YOU THINK? I’m trying to decide weather to go get my job back or remain unemployeed seeking a job…Job hunting can get very depressing. Your opionions would be VERY helpful!
No where in the bible did God say that the unclean meats are all of a sudden clean. How well do you know your bible? My church teaches it well. You should read it and go by it and not by what you hear.
His laws are written in my heart. Which means I do them out of love. That doesn’t change the rules. Doesnt make ham and other unclean animals healthy.

Read Isaiah 66:15-17..this doesnt just apply to the old testiment only…but to every person who lives, everyone who IS or WAS.
Moses law was done away with not Gods law, God wrote the Ten Commandments and Moses did all the cerimonial laws. Everything Moses wrote with his hand is gone, every thing that God wrote is still here. We will be abiding by the Ten Commandments even in heaven, even the Sabbath. How could Satan have sinned if there was no law to be as mirror to show him sin, there would be no sin.
The cerimonial regulations as a mean to coming to God is a dead end.
The other arm of the law reveals the charicter of God has not been done way with, this is His moral Law. His love expressed in writting. There IS a diffrence.Nobody made anything clean, if your reading acts, how did peter interprete the vision, read it all!!
The subject in Matthew 15:1-20 is eating without first washing the hands (verse 2). The focus is not eating, but washing. The scribes taught that eating any food without a special ceremonial washing defiled the eater. Jesus said the ceremonial washings were meaningless. In verse 19, he listed vertain eveils- murders, adulteries, thefts, etc. Then He concluded, “These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.” verse 20.
Spirit and law are not in opposition, they compliment each other.
Isaiah 66:15
Isa 66:15 ¶ For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. (17) Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
Le 5:2 Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
