(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...Is it possible for someone to find my ip adress/real identity if I have an ‘anonymous’ blog?
Imagine I want to share, say my thoughts, on international fashion events, where I have contact with ‘celebrities’ and funny or interesting info, like an ‘insider’ agent and would post these on a blog. Would it be possible, computer/technology wise for someone to link or find out my ip adress, etc? Thanks!!!

I have to buy a new computer. Friends have been trying to convince me to switch from Dell Windows laptop to a Mac PowerBook, but I’m not so sure. I use a computer for:
1. Access to the web & email. Yep, can do that on a Mac.
2. Write. Yep, can do that on a Mac. But I use OpenOffice as my office suite; not well-supported on a Mac.
3. Manage my finances. Eh . . . I guess I can switch from MS Money to Quicken. What a pain, though.
4. Play games. Oh boy. The Mac really comes up short here.
It’s that last one that hangs me up. Games that I love, like Madden NFL and Grand Theft Auto, just aren’t available on the Mac.
To get around the games requirement, a friend suggested I buy a Mac and an Xbox. But a Mac is already significantly more expensive than a new Windows laptop, so that doesn’t seem very financially viable.
Plus, since Apple is switching Macs from PowerPC to Intel chips sometime in 2006, now seems like a bad time to buy a Mac.
