Because our foreign policy in Iraq has been so historically immoral, what can we do to fix the problem now?

It was the US and Rumsfeld who supplied and supported Saddam in the 1980′s, even when he was using chemical weapons. http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A52241-2002Dec29?language=printer
The US supported Saddam when he oppressed his own people, and when he attacked Iran.
At the end of the first Gulf War Bush Sr. encouraged the Kurds and Shiites to rise up against Saddam, only to then sit back and watch as they cried out for our help when Saddam crushed all who did so. http://www.tbsjournal.com/Cull.html
Now we have removed Saddam’s party from power, exposing them to the violence and retaliation of those they harmed when in power, and we are having their leader Saddam hanged for all Iraq to see.
I believe the United States has now successfully betrayed every major group in Iraq.
Do you suppose there is anyone left in Iraq, or the region, who trusts the United States?
Should we be surprised when they fight us door to door and want us to leave?
What can we do now?

If You Ask A Question About Fords ‘Strong’ Disagreement?

with bushs Iraq invasion, are you showing Ford in a negative light??

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/27/AR2006122701558.html

Why the ‘obsession’? Which part of it is untimely? The fact that the story was hushed, the fact that Ford Died last night, or the fact that the Iraq war is an ongoing mistake?

Schools are shut in Iraq as Professors are murdered, where is the democracy we are bringing?

The deadliest places to be in Iraq are the schools we are told are the fruits of Bush’s democracy push. Parents do not allow their children to go to school. Under Saddam they WENT TO SCHOOL.
